What our clients have to say
During the majority of the life of this national Royal Commission, Dani provided invaluable media and communications advice to myself and the Commissioners. Dani established and managed the Commission’s media and communication team, before leaving to create her own consultancy in the latter phase of the Royal Commission’s operations. Dani’s work with the Royal Commission involved managing the day to day media relationship across Australia and, at times internationally; developing communication strategies to manage emerging issues; and writing keynote speeches for Commissioners that were delivered at high-profile national and international events and conferences. Dani’s sound judgement and expertise were important in helping the Royal Commission build and maintain public confidence in the Commission’s work.
Our company, BRAVE, provided marketing and communications content for the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. We had the pleasure of working with Dani Redmond during our time with the Royal Commission and I had previously worked with her in her role at the Australian Communications and Media Authority. Dani’s leadership of the Royal Commission’s communications and marketing activities, for me, set the standard that all agencies should aspire to, and we have worked with many. Consider the potential pitfalls and criticisms that an organisation like the RC could encounter. Dani and her team perfectly navigated all of them with deft skill, and at the same time presented a bold and positive message for survivors of child abuse and the community at large. Her approach to creative work and messaging is well judged, welcoming of innovation and also results focused. It was a great pleasure to collaborate with a department lead by her and I would welcome any opportunity to do so in the future.
